The full time equivalent (FTE) of staff was 116 for 2007-2008 and our enrollment was 1675 students. The percentage of female teachers to male teachers was 56:44 respectively. The chart below shows the trend for the average years of experience for our staff.
The Pupil/Certified staff ratio at Wichita South is 22:1 in core courses, 15:1 in elective courses, and 8:1 in special education courses. Out of a total of 114 certified classroom teachers in 2007-08, 61 of them have a master’s degree.
