Science Clubs
Science Olympiad
Science Olympiad ties in physics biology chemistry and the scholars' bowl to form a kick butt program that Only the strong survive.
Scholars Bowl
This Activity is not just science oriented but science is a big part of it. Students in this club enjoy competing against other students.
Geology Club
In geology club you get the opportunity to explore and learn about rocks, fossils, and other exciting things. Not to mention the fact that the trips they take leaves a lasting memory.
Blood Drive
The annual South Blood Drive is targeted towards introducing students to blood donation. Science students help the Red Cross to run the program for the day.
The Owls Project is an awards winning nature center at South. It is totally student oriented with teacher supervision and includes plant life, animals, insects, ponds and statuettes.
