The primary purpose of the library program is to be an integral component of all teaching and learning processes that occur within the school experience. Standards for Library Media All students will exhibit respect and responsibility for information sources and show consideration for other information users by being oriented in library use and procedures. All students will demonstrate competence in recognizing when information is needed and how to retrieve and use it effectively. All students will demonstrate effective communication of information b producing a variety of media which integrate and synthesize information from various sources and formats. All students will demonstrate familiarity with a wide variety of literatures.
