Spanish 1

This course is designed as an introduction to Hispanic culture and the Spanish language.

Spanish 2

9- 12

Spanish 1 or 1B

This course is designed to continue the listening, speaking, reading, writing, and culture activities.

Spanish 3

10, 11, 12

Spanish 2

Spanish will be the language of instruction in this course. Oral communication will continue to be stressed, with more of the responsibility for class presentations resting with the students.

Spanish 4

11, 12

Spanish 3

Spanish will be the language of instruction in this course. Increased proficiency in all four skills is the goal, with continued emphasis on the culture of Spanish-speaking countries.

Spanish 5**

12

Spanish 4

Spanish will be the language of instruction in this course. Incresed proficiency in all four skills is the goal, with an emphasis on research into the literature of various Spanish-speaking countries.

** Spanish 5 is offered for 5 hours of college credit through Friends University. The current fee is $40 per credit hour. **
