The South High LEARNING CENTER may be for you!!!

The SOUTH  HIGH LEARNING CENTER offers individualized programs that:

• Allow students to begin classes anytime.
• Allow students to move through course work at their own pace.
• Allow flexible days and times.
• Require commitment, persistence, and self-direction.

HOURS:

• 3:30 – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday
• Some Saturdays later in the year

• Just inside the west entrance to the B Hall

ENROLLMENT GUIDELINES:

• Currently enrolled high school students may retake courses for credit in the Learning Center.
• Community students may enroll for original credit to complete diploma requirements.

CURRICULUM:

• English 1 through 4
• Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, intermediate Algebra
• World Studies, U.S. History 1 & 2, Government
• Computer Applications (1st sem.)

COST:

• $75 per ½ credit for currently enrolled students
• $5 per course for Community students (students who have dropped out of school with a disclaimer on file with their base school or their graduating class has already had their graduation ceremony)
